It occurred to me today that while I have setup this fancy news systems it's been rather lacking in content somewhat.

So, here you go, some news.

Well, today was the end of a longish week and one which im glad is over in a way. There's nothing quite like making your job harder than having someone shadow you for the day. Just when you though you had a simple task down to 10 minutes, its now suddenly taking you 30.

However, I have persevered and seem to have escaped with only minor cuts and bruises! I spent most of this morning ragging around East Lothian in a 1.6 Astra Estate, which as you can appreciate isn't the fastest or most luxurious of vehicles. All this in aid of replacing batteries for the servers that we have in our Schools. At one school I accidentally switched their server off, sorry 'bout that by the way

The afternoon was filled with more mundane tasks that would befit only the best a BOFH can do. Deleting kids files has a certain "OMG I HAVE THE POWER" aspect to it, but you also get a small glimpse into the life of a current pupil which seems to revolve more and more around playing SuperDX Ball ! I'm not a harsh person, no wait that's a downright lie, I am harsh I will delete anything that looks remotely suspicious and im sorry but if you insist on putting real school work inside a folder called "MY MUZAK N GAMEZ" and I happen to delete it then its your own fault!

Now that I have filled my power trip for the week I can head home knowing the world is a better place, only some daft bastard has decided to do the damn indecent act of crashing his car and closing the A1. Humph, luckily by the time I got to the scene they had reopened the south-bound side. Looked pretty nasty, there was a Corsa with no roof and a pretty mashed up front end.

I could rant on a bit here about driving and road conditions, (in case you are currently living in a nice hot country it has been raining all day today) but I wont I'll save that for another day and another idiot who insists on cutting me up on the A1.

Just installed a handy new news CMS system!

Now I can actually edit the content on this site without fiddling around in Notepad++
